Ariana Grande could be in a venti-sized heap of trouble.
This comes as a Las Vegas artist is suing the pop star.
The federal copyright infringement suit stems from imagery in Ariana’s “God is a Woman” music video.
Artist Vladimir Kush alleges an image of a woman in a candle flame in Grande’s video is nearly identical to art he painted and copyrighted nearly 20 years ago.
The penalties if the infringement allegations are upheld could be severe.
Kush is seeking unspecified monetary damages and is asking for a court order to remove the video from the internet.
The video currently has close to two-hundred-million views on YouTube.
Universal Music Group and the video director, producer and production company are also named in the lawsuit.
No word yet on how Ariana’s team will respond.
