On the afternoon of Christmas Eve, Amarillo Police responded to Sanchez Bakery at 1010 Amarillo Boulevard East on a robbery.
Two female employees were there when the business was robbed. The suspect entered the store and walked into the kitchen area. The man produced a handgun and demanded the money. One of the employees handed him the money from the register. He then left the building.
The suspect was a male of unknown race and age, about six feet tall, slim, and wearing a dark colored ski mask and dark colored jacket. The suspect is believed to have been in a tan or gold four-door seen going south on Arthur after the robbery.
No one was injured in the incident and there have been no arrests.
