Amarillo Police said they are looking for a suspect for stealing a water truck on Saturday. 

After a report was filed, an employee of the company spotted the truck near SW 3rd and S. Florida Street. A Nixle reports the employee started following the suspect and then the suspect got out of the stolen vehicle and pointed a gun at the employee.

The suspect then left the area on foot. The employee was unharmed and the truck was recovered. 

Officer searched the area but the suspect was not located. He is described as a white male with red hair, wearing a welders cap and white shirt.
