(NBC News) Sportscaster Erin Andrews walked out of a Nashville courtroom Monday morning just before her legal team showed the jury video-taped depositions from the man convicted of stalking and secretly recording nude videos of her.
Michael David Barrett admitted following Andrews to three cities, altering the peepholes in her hotel rooms and secretly recording the nude videos.
Barrett spent 30 months in jail for the crimes, which he described as a “mistake in judgment.”
Andrews is seeking $75 million in a lawsuit that names Barrett, along with a Nashville Marriott Hotel and its management company at the time of the incident, claiming negligence, emotional distress and invasion of privacy.
Attorneys for the Nashville Marriott say they were duped by Barrett as well.
