Americans are “overwhelmed” by apps on their phones

Do you suffer from iPhone app overload?

Turns out, you’re not alone.

A new survey from Facebook Messenger shows nearly half of Americans are overwhelmed by the apps on their phone.

From sliding into the DMs to swiping on Tinder, the virtual clutter on our screens is piling up.

While many smartphone users say they haven’t checked about a quarter of their apps in the last week, only about half reorganized their phones to get rid of them.

Most people believe messaging apps are the most useful, with e-mail and weather following close behind.

Since the season of spring cleaning is upon us, it might be time to tidy up our technology.
