America Mourns Reagan’s Passing


(NBC News) Former First Lady Nancy Reagan is being remembered around the world as one of the most iconic and influential women to ever grace the White House.

Reagan died Sunday morning at her house in Los Angeles at the age of 94.

“I know how much she meant not just to President Reagan but to the country as a whole,” said President Obama on Monday.

Her funeral is set to take place on Friday at the Reagan Library, and while it remained closed to the public on Monday, flowers were left at the gates as a tribute to the woman who was so widely loved.
