UPDATE TO AMBER ALERT: Missing 4-Year-Old Child Last Heard From in Midland

UPDATE AS OF SATURDAY AUGUST 19:

Special Agents with the FBI, Deputy United States Marshalls, Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, and Investigators with the Midland County Sheriff's Office worked continuously since Friday afternoon to find Caleb Andrew Tondre, 4. 

Saturday afternoon after 6:30 p.m. Special Agents with the FBI, Deputy United States Marshalls, Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in San Antonio located Caleb and his father at a motel in San Antonio. 

Caleb is unharmed and in the custody of the San Antonio Police Department. 

Christopher Allen Tondre is in jail and is being charged with aggravated kidnapping and child endangerment. He will be arraigned before a magistrate in San Antonio, then deputies from the Midland County Sheriff's Office will transport him back to Midland where he will be arraigned and await trial in the Midland County Jail. 

 

The Midland County Sheriff's Office is searching for Caleb Andrew Tondre, described as:

Sex: Male
Skin: White
Hair: Red/Blonde
Eyes: Hazel
Height: 3 ft
Weight: 45 lbs
Description: Last seen wearing a lime green Gap shirt, khaki pants, and red Jordan shoes.

Police are looking for Christopher Allen Tondre, described as:


Age now: 36
Sex: Male
Skin: White
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Hazel
Height: 5'9
Weight: 175 lbs
Description: Last seen wearing a t-shirt and blue jeans with a tribal tattoo on the left arm.

The suspect is driving a blue, 2005 Kia Optima with a Texas license plate number of HBS5560 with a New England Patriots sticker on back window.

The suspect was last heard from in Midland, TX.

Law enforcement officials believe this child to be in grave or immediate danger.
