Refugees coming to Amarillo have access to more care once they arrive.
The Refugee Services of Texas in Amarillo gave a tour of their new headquarters at the Bethesda Outreach Center.
Officials say they can help more with housing, employment, and English classes.
They also had groups like the Amarillo Fire Department and Boys and Girl Scouts of America on hand.
Officials say Amarillo is a great place to host refugees because of our low cost of living and resources.
The refugee services welcomed two families into the city Wednesday.
