Amarillo Police Investigating 2 Sunday Afternoon Robberies

On Sunday afternoon, Amarillo Police responded to an armed robbery at Boost Mobile at 3101 South Western Street.

The victim told officers that a man entered the store and pointed a gun at the clerk. The suspect demanded money and then fled the scene. There were no injuries reported from this incident. 
 
Less than 30 minutes later, a call came in from the Metro PCS at 1407 North Grand Street advising that a robbery had just occurred at this location. 

The suspect description given was the same as the previous robbery. The suspect entered the store, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money from the register. The suspect left in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported from this incident. 
 
The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from each location. No arrests have been made at this time.
