Amarillo Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics is proud to host the 10th Annual Candy Buy Back event on Friday, November 3rd from 3pm to 6pm at the APDO Wolflin Location at 2455 I-40 West in Wolflin Square.

Trick or treaters who bring their excess candy will be paid $2 per pound, for up to three pounds. That candy will then be sent to our troops serving overseas.

Every year, Amarillo Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics collects between 200 and 300 pounds of candy. Last year, a whopping 225 pounds was shipped to dozens of soldiers serving in the military.

Amarillo residents are encouraged to bring the names and addresses of soldiers who are in
need of a sweet surprise.

At this year’s event, kids will also enjoy face painting by Amadazzle and a visit from Amarillo Crime Stoppers, which will be making free Kid ID’s.

The Amarillo Fire Department will also be on hand with its mock firehouse, which teaches kids how to safely escape a fire.
