22Hundred, Featuring Chamber Music Amarillo

The Amarillo Museum of Art is partnering with Chamber Music Amarillo who will perform a repertoire designed to highlight AMoA’s current installation, PLEXUS NO. 33, by artist Gabriel Dawe. This artistic collaboration will explore the connection between the physical artwork and the performance to create a brief, but intense, experience.
 
Musicians Annie Chalex Boyle on violin and David Palmer on piano will perform selections including Arvo Part, Fratres and Somei Satoh, Birds in Warped Time II, followed by a variety of chocolate desserts for guests to enjoy as they explore the galleries.

8:30 pm Performance by Chamber Music Amarillo
9:00 pm Desserts served in the galleries
 
AMoA and CMA members free, non-members $10
Guest check-in will be set up at the 2200 entrance on Van Buren Street
 
22Hundred is an exciting series of events that encourages AMoA visitors to experience the museum in a new way. Utilizing the museum’s 2200 Van Buren Street entrance, each event is unique and will offer a fresh perspective on the museum’s architecture and exhibitions.
 
The Amarillo Museum of Art is located at 2200 South Van Buren on the Washington Street campus of Amarillo College.
