The AAYC hosted the 5th annual Child Abuse Prevention Rally today.
As part of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, the event was aimed at raising awareness for all forms of abuse and informing the community about how to stand up to abuse.
Participants were invited to join in poster-making, booths, activities and a neighborhood walk with four stops along the way covering types of abuse.
Those abuse types included sexual abuse, physical abuse, emotional abuse and neglect.
The event was free to the public, but any donations collected were given to the AAYC.
You can wear blue throughout the month of April in support of Child Abuse Prevention Month.
