Amarillo Bulls Raise Money for Injured Youth Player

The Amarillo Bulls are raising money for an injured youth player during tonight’s game.

14-year-old Jace Kouba was hospitalized after a collision during a hockey game on Sunday.

Kouba, who plays for the Amarillo Bulls Youth Hockey Association, suffered fractures to two vertebrae in his lower back.

“His teammates will be there in their uniforms and what we call ‘Pass the Bucket’ for any cash or check or funds like that to go towards helping him financially,” Amarillo Bulls Director of Youth Hockey Austin Sutter said. “That’s why I love this community. That’s why I’ve been here 13 years, and that’s the bulls succeed, I believe overall.”

The Amarillo Bulls are playing against Shreveport Mudbugs tonight at 7 p.m.
