Abused Dog Gets Second Chance, Joins Sheriff’s Office

An abused pup is given a second chance thanks to some officers in Florida.

This dog was found wandering with its snout taped shut, malnourished and with several wounds on his left arm and chest.

After getting several calls about the dog in need the pup was rescued by the Lee County Sheriff’s Ofice and nursed back to health.

The department appropriately named the dog Chance and gave him a new role!

Chance will now serve as a representative for the department as a pets-on-patrol spokes-dog and will get his own “desk” at the station right next to Sheriff Carmine Marceno who adopted chance.
