A World For Children Family Fun Parking Lot Party

A World for Children  “AWFC” hosted a Family Fun Parking Lot Party sponsored by Re-Bath, featuring live music by Kim & the Crash Band,  pizza by Giovanni’s, and hamburgers & hot dogs compliments of the Carpet Tech Cooking Team.

The party also had support and donations from various businesses in Amarillo.

A bouncer waterslide, the Amarillo Fire Department Safety House, and other games were also a part of the fun.

“The community has really come together to support our agency and our efforts,” Tanya Park, AWFC Director.

All proceeds benefited AWFC. Their goal was to raise money to help provide school clothes and luggage to aid in their transition to a safer home.

AWFC serves abused and/or neglected youth, ages 0-18, in twelve offices across the State of Texas. The committed staff and foster parents serve approximately 1,000 youth annually. AWFC is licensed by, and contracts with the State of Texas, to serve children in the State’s care.
