A spiky-necked dinosaur skeleton discovered

The findings of a spiky-necked dinosaur are published after six years.

This rare fossil was unearthed in an archaeological dig in Patagonia in 2013.

Scientists published a report Monday detailing a unique feature of the prehistoric species — long, thin spikes on its neck.

Researchers believe the spikes on the Bajadasaurus Pronuspinax were used for self-defense claiming the pointed parts resemble those found on horned animals on the planet today.
