A Virginia brewery wants you to get nostalgic this Saint Patrick’s Day, and find their newest brew at the end of the rainbow.
Smartmouth Brewing Company of Norfolk, Virginia, has a reputation for far-out flavors in beers.
Now comes “the beer of your wonder years” in childhood.
It’s a brew which tastes like “Frosted Lucky Charms.”
“Saturday Morning IPA” stands for “India Pale Ale.”
It’s made by throwing in pounds of marshmallows — some toasted — along with fruity calypso hops into the brewing process.
It produces a sweet, fruity taste they say reminds you of “frosted lucky charms,” and they say it’s “magically ridiculous” fun.
The India Pale Ale will have a 6.6-percent alcohol-by-volume content.
Smartmouth Brewing will release it in draft and 16-ounce cans on March 2nd, but, you can only get it in Virginia.
