A two-year-old boy puts playtime on hold to help out firefighters responding to a call in California.

Little Jackson saw firemen outside his house responding to reports of a burning shed and ran out to help.

Red plastic hat in hand along with his plastic axe and whistle, Jackson was soon part of the Fresno Fire Department’s ranks.

This rookie quickly becoming a pro with a little help from a fellow fireman.

The Fresno Fire Department says they were happy to introduce Jackson to his first firefighting experience.

They hope it sparks an interest and leaves a lasting impact for his future.
