Howdy folks and good Monday morning. It’s a pleasant start to the week with cooler-than-average conditions from morning to afternoon. Under scattered clouds, we’ll heat up to high temperatures mainly in the 80s with north winds at 5 to 15 mph, though we can expect some stronger breezes by the middle of the morning. Thankfully, the wind calms down for the rest of the day, while the area stays dry.
Tuesday brings hotter temperatures back to the Panhandles, as we get above 90 but the next round of thunderstorms will develop over our northern counties in the evening. Large hail and strong downburst winds are looking more likely. We’ll see storms possible in the late afternoons from Wednesday into this weekend while the 90s keep coming back.
Enjoy your day!
