How fashion changed and influenced women's suffrage

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — When words fail, fashion speaks. Anne Medlock is the Costume Professor at West Texas A&M University.

She also did an exhibit at the Panhandle Plains Historical Museum regarding fashion and the women’s suffrage movement.

Medlock says clothes during this time were costly, inconvenient, and worn mainly for courtship and that it was done that way on purpose.
