Amarillo Crime Stoppers looking for convenience store robbery suspect

Amarillo Crime Stoppers is asking for your help identifying an Armed Robbery Suspect in this week’s “Crime of the Week”.  

On April 11th at 11:31 PM, APD officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at a convenience store in the 4200 block of SW 34th Avenue. The victim told officers that a male wearing a black or dark blue hooded sweatshirt, light blue jeans, and very noticeable red Nike tennis shoes pointed what she believed to be a gun wrapped in a blue bandana at her. 

The suspect demanded money out of the register. The suspect left the store, with an undisclosed amount of money, on foot and is believed to have gone south into the neighborhood.
