Maria Pasillas is the morning meteorologist on Today in Amarillo.

She was raised in Eldorado, Texas and graduated from Eldorado High School. She studied and graduated from Angelo State University in 2018. In 2021, she also obtained her master’s degree in meteorology through Mississippi State University. 

Before coming to Amarillo, Maria worked at NTV News in Nebraska as one of their forecasters and at a local news station in San Angelo, Texas. 

In her spare time, she enjoys visiting her family in West Central Texas and helping around at their family ranch. She enjoys all outdoor activities such as hiking, running, kayaking, etc.
