Caden Keenan is the Digital Team Lead for MyHighPlains.com, which includes KAMR Local 4 News and Fox 14 News.

Caden is a native of Texas, and spent much of their childhood between the Hill Country, North Texas, and the Panhandle. After completing high school in Abilene, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio, Television, and Film from the University of North Texas. During that time, they collaborated on a number of local television series and served variously as a writer, director, producer, and talent member.

After graduating in 2020, Caden moved to Amarillo and became a senior member of the growing MyHighPlains.com Digital Team. Since then, they have provided coverage on a range of topics including politics and government on the High Plains, breaking news, local events and entertainment, and healthcare.

At home, Caden also has two cats – Grim and Beans – who enjoy causing general mischief and trying to steal sticks of butter from refrigerators.

In their spare time, Caden enjoys rock climbing, hiking, writing, art, and playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends and family.
