Oven Roasted Green Beans with Brown Sugar and Peppered Bacon

- Serves 8

2 pounds fresh green beans
1 Tbsp (or as needed) olive oil
4 strips of thick sliced bacon  (diced)
1/2 tsp freshly ground black peppercorn
1/4 tsp salt
1-2 Tbsp light brown sugar

1.    Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
2.    Pat green beans dry with paper towel after washing, spread onto pan and drizzle with olive oil
3.    Sprinkle on spices, sugar, & bacon
4.    Roast in oven until beans have brown spots, 20-25 minutes
