Taught by Ashley Paredes, the cooking class will explore different cuisine each week with a blend of history, culinary skills, and regions including France, Italy, Mexico, and New American Cuisine. Participants will develop cooking techniques, knife skills and mise en place. Each week the class will enjoy the gourmet cuisine prepared, and the class will end with a wine tasting. Ashley's Caprese SaladIngredients:
- Fresh Mozzarella
- Fresh Basil
- Extra Virgil Olive Oil
- Balsamic Vinegar
- Kosher Salt
- Ground Black Pepper
Layer alternating slices of tomatoes and mozzarella, adding a basil leaf between each, on large platter. Drizzle extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar and season with kosher salt and pepper to taste.
