Bone-In Pork Chop with Apple Bacon Bourbon Confit
Bone-In Pork Chop
1 Apple
2 Mushrooms
1 Onion
1 Shot Bourbon
2 Cups Water
1/2 Cup Worcestershire Sauce
1/3 Cup Soy Sauce
1 Garlic
Spicy of Choice
Build a brine out of water, soy,Worcestershire, garlic, bay leave and spicy. Let pork chop sit in brine 6-12hours. Remove pork chop from brine and saute or grill 4-6 minutes each side. Chop apple, mushroom and onion. Saute until golden brown. De-glaze pan with bourbon. Once bourbon has burned off top pork chop with confit and serve.
