WTAMU Center for Learning Disabilities Lecture Series

The Distinguished Lecture Series will focus on technology and is on Saturday, October 12th.
West Texas A&M University Center for Learning Disabilities (CLD) Distinguished Lecture Series will focus on technology. The series is 8 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12 in the Jack B. Kelley Student Center, Legacy Hall.

Megan Shanley, an occupational therapist and RESNA-certified assistive technology practitioner with the Albuquerque Public Schools, will lead the one-day presentation.

Registration begins at 8 a.m., and the first presentation, “iEmpowerment—Reading Independence through Technology,” follows at 9 a.m. Shanley’s second session, “iEmpowerment—Writing and Organizational Independence through Technology,” begins at 11 a.m. Her final presentation begins at 1 p.m. on “iEmpowerment—Hands-on Teaching” along with a question and answer session.
