Who's More Fit: Kids or Their Parents When They Were Kids?

Same Around World
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA -- Kids today are less fit than their parents were at their age.

And that's not just here in the U.S. It's around the world.

Australian experts studied more than 25 million kids in 28 countries between 1964 and 2010.

They say children are 15-percent less fit than their parents were when they were children.

Experts say the decline in cardiovascular health could mean worse overall health in adulthood.

They recommend children get an least an hour of "big muscle" exercise each day, like running or bike riding.
