Update: Harris County Murder Suspect Caught in Amarillo

The Curry County Sheriff’s Office and New Mexico State Police are assisting Texas law enforcement authorities with a manhunt for Alejandro Rodriguez.
AMARILLO -- A man wanted in connection with a shooting last month in Harris County is behind bars right here in Amarillo.

Around five this evening the US Marshall's office arrested 20-year-old Alejandro Rodriguez at a local motel.

They say it was thanks to a tip to the Parmer County Crime Stopper's office that they were able to locate rodriguez.

He's suspected of shooting and killing Jesus Williams in Baytown back on August 28.

Officials say they're working to get Rodriguez transfered back to Harris County to face charges.
BOVINA -- The Curry County Sheriff’s Office and New Mexico State Police are assisting Texas law enforcement authorities with a manhunt for Alejandro Rodriguez, 20 years of age, 5’9” to 5’10” in height.

Rodriguez was last seen wearing a long-sleeve grey t-shirt, jeans and boots, he has a lip piercing and is wearing a lip ring, he has been traveling on foot and is probably very muddy.

He was last seen in the area of Texas Farm-to-Market road 2290 and US 60, in the Bovina, Texas area.

Texas law enforcement authorities have reported that Rodriguez is a murder suspect from Harris County, Texas.
