AMARILLO -- Local kids from different schools are coming together to get to know each other's communities.
Students from St. Andrews Elementary School and Margaret Wills Elementary got together for a day of fun.
It's part of a new program called "neighbor to neighbor".
Organizers say it's a way for the children to get know each other and make new friendships.
Organizers say they have more meet and greets planned out the rest of the school year for students in kindergarten through fifth grade.
