Tri-State Fair Kicks Off!

Games, prizes, snack and rides are nothing new at the Tri-State Fair, but there are a few changes.
The regular PRCA Rodeo will be back this year, Thursday through Saturday night.

But there will be special event on Wednesday, September 18.

A mini National Finals Rodeo performance is planned for the folks of Amarillo, 1 of only 4 locations chosen in the country.

But that's not all.

Tri-State Fair Marketing Director Angela Ragland says, "it's going to be aired on GAC-TV September 29th and October 5th.  GAC reaches 62 million households and we want Amarillo to look good on tv.  So come out, bring your signs, cheer for your favorite contestant and make us all look good with a packed house."

Scott's Crazy Magic Show will be coming to the fair this year for the first time.

He'll join hypnotist Jerry Harris.

If you can't make it out to the fair on opening night, don't worry, it runs all the way through September 21st

There will be a livestock judging contest with cattle, pigs, and horses.

The pig races will also be back this year.
