Traffic Stop Leads to Seizure of THC Jam

A DPS traffic stop Friday on US-87 yielded over six pounds of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) jam that was valued at over $55,000.00.
HARTLEY – A DPS traffic stop Friday on US-87 yielded over six pounds of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) jam that was valued at over $55,000.00.

At 3:07 p.m., the DPS trooper pulled over a 2007 Honda Civic traveling southbound on US-87, for a traffic violation near Hartley in Hartley County. During the traffic stop, the trooper conducted a search of the vehicle and discovered four mason jars containing six pounds of THC jam in the luggage.  

Bradley G Dubois, 26, of Kihei, Hawaii was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance, a first-degree felony, and booked into the Dallam County jail. 

The drugs were allegedly being transported from Denver, Colo. to Austin, Texas.
