(KARE) Ptacek's grocery store in Prescott, Wisconsin has always been known for its generously sized bratwurst.
"One and a half times the size," boasts Pat Ptacek as he holds a brat package bulging at the seams. "This one curls around right here so it won't even fit on the tray," he smiles.
But on Labor Day, the fourth generation grocery store did itself one better when it grilled a 152-foot-long bratwurst in the parking lot.
"I haven't slept in about three weeks worrying about that bun," said Pat's dad Mike Ptacek, who baked the brat bun the day before on the same 152-foot-long cement block grill.
