Texas AgriLife Extension Service Celebrates 100 Years of Partnership

For 100 years extension has been bringing research based information into the hands of youth and adults.
1) In 2014, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension celebrates the Smith-Lever Act, which established the Cooperative Extension Service, a unique partnership between the U.S. Department of Ag, The Nations Land Grant Universities, and County Government that extends research based knowledge through a network of extension educators.

2) For 100 years extension has been bringing research based information into the hands of youth and adults through innovative programs in the areas of youth development & leadership, families and health, and production agriculture. 

3) In the next 100 years Texas A&M AgriLife Extension will continue to extend knowledge and provide solutions based on the needs identified by local citizens.
