(NBC News) Law enforcement agencies from across New York and New Jersey are ready for next month's Super Bowl.
In what is being called an "unprecedented collaboration between local, state, and federal agencies" thousands of officers are being deployed across the area for events planned from Times Square to Met-Life Stadium.
As part of their preparations security teams have also reviewed the Boston Marathon bombing, the power outage at last years game and the possibility of severe weather.
Right now the forecast calls for snow and ice.
