Sugary Drinks Linked to Cancer

Endometrial Cancer
NEW YORK -- A large study of women links sugar-sweetened beverages to a certain type of endometrial cancer.

Women who drink many sugary drinks tend to have a 78-percent increased risk of estrogen-dependent type one endometrial cancer.

The more women drink, the higher their risk.

The link appears to be rooted in obesity. Doctors suggest consumption of sugary drinks contributes to weight problems.
