April 21, Monday Morning Forecast

Good Monday morning everyone.
Happy Monday! A return to sunshine today for the area!

For today, after some morning clouds and fog, we'll break into some pleasant weather. Winds this morning from the north and north west at 5 to 15 will get a tad breezy as we move past the 10am hour. A few gusts approaching 25 to 30 mph will be possible. Temperatures will rebound into the 70s and 80s today, though could be tempered by the morning clouds and fog, and the leftover moisture from yesterday's thunderstorms.

Tomorrow will be another breezy day with winds from the southeast at 10 to 20 mph. It will be sunny, though we can't rule out a renegade shower or thunderstorm in parts of eastern New Mexico. That said, the chance that any storm forms is less than five percent. Afternoon highs will again cruise into the 70s and 80s.

Rain chances return Wednesday with the chance for severe weather in our eastern counties.
