Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is hoping to get more people enrolled for Affordable Care Act coverage.
In a conference call, she urged state and local officials to push people to sign up for Obamacare.
It comes just days before the Obama administration's self-imposed deadline to have to the enrollment website up and working for most people.
Sebelius says the fixes to the problems that have plagued the website are "definitely on track."
She says improvements will continue beyond the November 30 deadline.
Recurring breakdowns, error messages and delays botched the federal web portal rollout on October first.
According to a CNN count based on available figures, just over 200,000 people have signed up for new private health insurance under Obamacare.
