CANYON -- Santa Claus will help welcome the holiday season at West Texas A&M University when thousands of lights illuminate the campus during the annual Carol of Lights at tonight 5:30 p.m.
Students, faculty, staff and community members will gather on the south side of Old Main to celebrate the holiday season with the ceremonial lighting of the campus.
The WTAMU Chorale and the WT Brass Ensemble will be on hand to provide the sounds of Christmas with a selection of traditional holiday music. Those attending will be given lighted candles and invited to sing along.
The event is hosted by the WTAMU Residence Hall Association and Student Affairs.
Community parking for the Carol of Lights will be available east of the McCaslin Hall apartments.
