AMARILLO -- Saint Mary's school has been open in Amarillo for 100 years.
They're celebrating all week but everything kicked off this morning with a pet blessing.
Parishioners and other members of the community brought their animals to the Parish Hall and they were blessed by Monsignor Waldo.
The school was built back when Washington street was just a dirt road and they still operate out of the same building.
Tomorrow morning there's a fun run that starts at eight and there is a carnival next weekend.
