Retirement Just A Dream?

Can you imagine sitting at your desk until your final days? For a growing number of workers -- that may be their reality. So do you need to get comfortable in your office?
Are you counting down the days until you retire? Well for many in our country that countdown may never be over.

A new study shows that nearly one in eight workers expect they will never be able to afford to retire completely.

The new report, done by HSBC, looked at 16,000 people in 15 countries and studied their finances and most importantly their saving for retirement.

And it paints a gloomy picture - showing that retirement may be off the table for many people.

Just look at these numbers:

The average, globally, for people who will never retire, is 12 percent.

But let's look at the leaders -- 19 percent of workers in the U.K. And 18 percent of workers in the U.S. Will never retire.

That compares to numbers in India, France, China and Brazil that are much lower -- between 13 and five percent of workers.

So the future may not be the brightest for workers here in the U.S. And in the U.K.
