Red Kettle Campaign Kicks Off at Cowboys Game

This marks the 17th year of the Thanksgiving Day partnership between the Dallas Cowboys and The Salvation Army, in which time the Red Kettle Campaign has raised more than $1.75 billion
The halftime show performance at the Cowboys game will raise awareness of The Salvation Army's 123rd Red Kettle Campaign, which benefits millions of people in need during the holidays and throughout the year. The Red Kettle Campaign officially runs from the Day after Thanksgiving through Christmas Eve, but Selena Gomez has been spreading the word since Nov. 3. In support of the campaign, Selena is hosting her own Online Red Kettle and encouraging her fans to join her team and donate to the Salvation Army. Fans can join her team by visiting www.onlineredkettle.org/selenagomez, and the top eight fundraisers will virtually connect with Selena through a Google Hangout, available to watch in December.

JERRY JONES, is the Owner and General Manager of the Dallas Cowboys. His leadership has brought remarkable success to the team. Jones became the first owner in NFL history to guide his team to three league championships - 1992, 1993 and 1995 - in his first seven years of ownership.
 
COMMISSIONER DAVID JEFFREY, Newly appointed National Commander David Jeffrey has served The Salvation Army along with his wife Barbara since their marriage in 1969. They have served in a variety of roles throughout the organization including leadership roles in Maryland, West Virginia, North and South Carolina, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia and Texas.

CHARLOTTE JONES ANDERSON, is the Executive Vice President and Chief Brand Officer of the Dallas Cowboys and has served as the Chair of the Salvation Armys National Advisory Board since 2010, the first woman to serve in that role.  Anderson introduced the groundbreaking approach to fund-raising on the worldwide stage during the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Halftime game
