CLOVIS -- Albert Jose Ramirez, 25, was sentenced to life in prison plus six years for the murder of Eladio Robledo.
On October 11, 2013, a jury convicted Ramirez of First Degree Murder and two counts of Tampering with Evidence, after a week-long trial.
Ramirez was convicted of the murder of his mother’s boyfriend, Eladio Robledo. On July 12, 2007, Ramirez went to his mother’s home against a “no trespass” order, and gunned down Robledo in the front yard. Ramirez fled the scene and was arrested three days later by the Clovis Police Department, hiding in a bedroom of a friend’s home.
Ramirez has been incarcerated since the incident and was immediately transported to prison.
