The Quanah Parker Trail is a volunteer-led project to commemorate the sites of Comanche and Native American history in the Texas Panhandle & Plains.
Quanah Parker, as the leader who bridged two cultures and two centuries of Texas history, is the iconic figure representing the larger story of his people.
On Sat., November 2, Amarillo's giant arrow marker for the Quanah Parker Trail will be installed at Wildcat Bluff Nature Center
Members of the Quanah Parker family will present a traditional Comanche blessing to dedicate the arrow.
