The Sochi 2014 Olympic torch continued to travel across Russia Friday.
It's the twelfth day of the 123-day trek across the country. The torch arrived in the town of Ples in the Ivanovo region. One torch bearer was greeted traditionally with bread and salt.
This is the longest torch relay in Olympic history. The torch will travel 39-thousand miles across Russia and be carried by 14-thousand torchbearers.
The relay will end at the opening ceremony of the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi on February 7th.
