(NBC News) Negotiations over the fate of Syria's chemical weapons are moving forward, slowly.
Talks between Secretary of State John Kerry and Rusian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov expanded into a larger exploration on how Russia and the United States might work together to bring an end to Syria's civil war.
Secretary Kerry called the latest talks in Geneva "constructive" at a Friday press conference.
Kerry and Lavrov will meet in New York in two weeks for another round of discussions.
