(WNYT) One of the puppies found injured and abandoned on the railroad tracks in Albany last fall received a new prosthetic paw Saturday.
Animal Ortho Care, LLC President Derrick Campana drove six hours from Chantilly, Va. to Menands to fit the dog, Hudson, with the new prosthesis. Hudson's left rear paw had to be amputated last year due to the severity of his injury.
"Hudson is doing a really good job," Campana said as he watched Hudson walk on the device. "If we keep working on it, we can see him walk even better, I think, down the road."
