LUBBOCK -- Police have updated the status of Lubbock teenager Zoe Campos from “missing” to “missing and endangered.” Police held a news conference Monday morning, saying there is now a $1,000 reward for information leading to her whereabouts.

Prior to the news conference Campos’ family was not aware of any new updates to the case.

Campos was last seen November 17, and a man was spotted driving her car a few days later. Once spotted, the man stopped the car, got out and ran away.

Police said during the news conference that Campos has not been active on social media, which they said was unusual for her. They also said she had engaged in “dangerous behavior” before her disappearance, but they did not explain what they meant by “dangerous.”

Police say Campos might have connections to Austin, El Paso or Abilene. Anyone with information can call police at 806-775-3701 or Crime Line at 806-741-1000. Callers to Crime Line can remain anonymous.
