AMARILLO -- A new article in the Marine Corps Times says the Army is considering scrapping its entire fleet of Kiowa Warrior Helicopters.

We reached out to Bell to see if the contract is being re-negotiated, they released a statement that neither confirmed or denied the possiblity.

"We understand the U.S. Army is faced with difficult decisions in achieving steep aviation budget reductions. We believe the Kiowa warrior is the most cost effective choice for the Army."
