Amarillo laced up their running shoes, in the fight against Alzheimer's disease.
The walk to end Alzheimer's started at Medi Park, with our own Chris Martin as emcee.
Anyone and everyone was invited out to help make a difference.
Proceeds raised go toward the Alzheimer's Association.
Area Director Tracy Sommers says, "we're excited that everyone comes out and they share their story and it gives them a day of hope and celebration and we're getting closer to finding a cure. "
Currently more than 340,000 people are living with Alzheimer's in the lone star state.
